I'm happy you liked it! And yes, it still surprises me, especially since I'm unsure about this first chapter (and the subsequent story!). Haha, I think I went a bit too far in terms of my ambition for this fic. I didn't want to write Ryo and Shige in ways that you'd normally view them as. That being said, I think I wrote a lot about their personalities and how they are in the first chapter. The plotline is actually pretty simple for this fic, I'm placing more emphasis on them as people and how they interact. Mysterious narrator, I've been told that it's kind of obvious who he might be? Lol, I'm not sure at this point if he'll ever be revealed. Or she ;D You never know :DD
