Wow. This is a really nice piece, so far. I don't typically go for the Nishikato pairing but I'm intrigued. I LOVE your descriptions of Shige, especially his voice (because it's oh so true) as well as the end descriptions of him as a pitiable liar. I very much like the narrator viewpoint, close but not. Please, please, give us more soon!
