i've been away for a long, long time, but this fic has stayed with me and i'm so glad i came back to see you've written so much more~
the conflicts in this are so real, almost too real and raw sometimes and it hurts reading it, but that's part of why i love this so much, because you don't shy away from the things that are hard to write or read. my heart aches for donghae and hyukjae, especially earlier, because it feels like the world is against them and there are sharp edges everywhere they turn. jungsu hurt and so did siwon, heechul too ;___;
i love the little details in their relationship and all the little moments too (and La Vie En Rose yay haha)
as usual, i can't wait to read the next chapter and the next step of their journey, but part of me is terrified of what's to come, because i love geng and his relationship with donghae and i will probably not be able to handle you writing him leaving. it's going to be tragic and painful and i'm on pins and needles waiting for it to hit me.
(the wordcount is massive, but not once have I felt like this story was dragging or too long. you tell the story you need to and it's not at all excessive in any way. )
