Oh, you've truly done it, woman *_______* I finally reserved some time to read this, and I'm kind of enthralled by your storytelling and writing and imagery and characterization. When I read the first part I thought it would definitely be an AU, but I really appreciate how you're doing canon instead and I'm curious as to how this will play out! The thing I like most about this though, is how much clarity there is. What I mean is that I can see Hyuk and Donghae going through all these things, playing rough and tumble on the soccer field, smoking it up on field with the others, and eating at a restaurant after being hit with bad news. The scene where Donghae comes home to Hyuk with Heechul's news, especially, was really vivid and poignant. I can't wait to read more!
