continued! (and sorry for the screwed up formatting earlier :o its all in italics! ):)
in a way, their relationship is also independent of ryo and shige's. although the two of them got together because they're worried for their best friends, and somehow after hanging out together, they got together. but their relationship is more than that, i think. they complete each other, as i said in earlier comments. what yamapi lacks, he relives it through koyama. and what koyama lacks, he finds in yamapi. they complete each other ♥
and ryo and shige. aaah, this two. i don't think they can be together without arguing, which is a stark contrast to yamapi and koyama's peaceful relationship, where words aren't really needed, and where their presence is enough for each other. for ryo and shige on the other hand, they're more vocal i guess. in everything xD and again, it shows how different ryo and shige are, and how stubborn they both are. how they want to be together, but are both too stubborn to step down and accomodate one another. in a way, they probably are still learning about love, but still haven't reached that point where both parties give way to each other xD and they run off to pi and koyama each, which kinda shows again their intertwined relationships ♥ aaah so much to derive out of a few chapters ♥
and and and the christmas party. ♥ really the calm before the storm, but it's a really nice calm! :D i like their comfortable atmosphere and how they're able to let down all masks and walls and just be themselves.
Koyama grinned and held up his wineglass. “To not being alone.”
“Amen,” said Yamapi, and clinked his glass against Koyama’s.
Underneath the table, their hands caught and held.
sorry. please allow me a moment of fangirling after the serious comments.
KOYAPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII ♥♥♥ i loved, loved LOVED this part. the "to not being alone" and the "amen". and the end where they hold hands under the table! :D it's like they're having their own private conversation ♥ they've both come a long way, especially koyama, since its his arc. he has come from a rollercoaster of emotions, how he had held on staunchly to his perfect universe, where he convinces himself that all is good, that shige likes girls, it's not his fault. then when his world shatters with shige's revelation of falling for ryo, how he finds out that he can be selfish and how he's ashamed of how far he's fallen.
next is his determination to dig himself out of that hole, and while it's hard and will take time, he's determined to become a better person, a different person from who he was. and finally, to finding love and feeling complete with yamapi and how he's finally not alone anymore ♥ alot he has gone through, but he's grown alot stronger for that and it's been wonderful seeing his growth over this few chapters.
i like how you end koyama's arc happily. his whole arc has been a sad and emotional one, where he has to face aspects of himself that he never thought existed and has his whole world turned upside down. but in the end, he's become stronger and has found his own place in his world, and its wonderful how he ends not being alone anymore. its like closing a chapter in the book and you have a warm fuzzy feeling (: thank you, for such a wonderful story and such a wonderful arc on koyama. i really did enjoy every chapter and every single bit from his perspective :D now i guess, its time to flip to the next chapter and see ryo and shige's relationship now :D (and time for me to go off to the next chapter that i missed xD)
Re: i take it back. long enough not to be able to squeeze into one comment ):
